Dr. Carlos Villeda Posada, holds a doctorate in medicine from the University of Hamburg in Germany. He has rotated in the Units of Internal Medicine, Radiology and Surgery of the University Hospitals Eppendorf and Wandsbeck of Hamburg.

He completed his doctoral thesis at the Heinrich-Pette Institute for Experimental Virology and Immunology in Hamburg. He then worked as a research scientist at the Center for molecular biology "Severo Ochoa", Superior Center for Scientific Research (CSIC), Madrid.

In his desire to treat his patients holistically, he began his training in Traditional Chinese Medicine by pursuing a Master's Degree in Acupuncture at the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Madrid. He then completed his studies with an advanced training stay for acupuncture specialists at Xi Yuan Hospital Beijing, China. He is a Member of the Association Practitioner's Register since 2002 which was born as a result of the collaboration between the European Foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Pan European Federation of TCM Societies (PEFOTS).
